For the Memories
For the Memories:
Syvanah Age 6, Year 2012
Halloween Night Syvanah had reviewed with me the rules of not going into a strangers house. Early in our trick-or-treating we come upon a house with door open as they were taking pictures of their son. After Syvanah collected her candy the home-owner gestured to have his son come in continued to encourage by saying, "come on, come on in". Syvanah was terrified thinking that this was her moment. That this was the stranger trying to get her to come in his house. She stood there wide-eyed and shook her head, 'no, no'... being all she could think to say. As soon as the home-owner realized she thought he was talking to her, he said 'no, my son'. This was much to Syvanh's relief and we all had a good laugh!

Later that evening Syvanah's favorite comment was "that woman has such a sweet voice, she was very nice" to nearly every trick-or-treat house we went to. Near the end, Syvanah's comment somehow turned into "that woman's voice is sweeter than she looks!" We were not quit sure how to take that!
Taylor Age 3, 2012
Taylor wanting Tyson to reach a remote for him that was high on the book shelf thought he would point out the reason why he solicited Dad's help. He told Tyson "you're big and fat so you can reach the remote!"
