Montezuma's Castle

Our first stop along the way to the Grand Canyon. Syvanah made the observation that the rocks look like snow. She had to touch them to make sure they were rocks. Little did she know that we would soon see real snow at the Grand Canyon. If I remember the information right, people lived in these cliff dwellings around 1400 a.d. for about 50 years. Seems like a nice enough spot with a river close by. The delema I see is climbing up and down ladders all the time to get to your dwelling. Anyway, it was neat to see a little bit of history and imagine what it might have been like.
